SABC1 Soapie Uzalo gained viewers in September
South Africa’s most-watched TV show Uzalo gained 200 000 viewers in the month of September.

Uzalo, a popular isiZulu soapie, gained viewers between September and October.

According to BRCSA, Uzalo received 4.9 million viewers in August, and 5.1 million in September.
The results also show that Generations: The Legacy remained in second place, with 4.4 million viewers in August and 4.4 million in September.
Skeem Saam, an award-winning instructional soapie, remained in third position with 4.3 million viewers in August and 3.9 million in September.

After Wiseman Mncube and Baby Cele left, Uzalo welcomed seven new cast members in season 10.
Mnqobi Kunene, star of Outlaws, played Geja, the leader of Amabutho eNdlende and a symbol of loyalty and ambition on SABC1.
